LOVE EB food, but not impressed with their Diapers September 9, 2010 Let me start by saying that Earths Best makes the best food and my daughter loves it. I have been using the Huggies Pure and Natural from the start but like another reviewer wanted a no gel diaper and loved the thought of chlorine free. I found that these diapers leaked really bad and my daughters bottom was not a fan either. I used the 7th Gen. diapers once before as well and didnt like how stiff they were causing difficulty in movement and they are a bit rough too... it is a bummer that there cant be the perfect disposable diaper out there for the green and eco concious... heres hoping!
Not into them September 8, 2010 Within days of 7 month old wearing these diapers he got his First diaper rash.. swithed back to pamper or 7th gen and rash went away. So needless to say we are not a fan.
Pampers convert September 7, 2010 All the hub-bub about the Pampers Dry Max and the recent appearance of a rash prompted us to seek out chlorine free diapers and alcohol free wipes. Since using Earth's Best diapers and wipes, the rash was gone within a day and a half and has not returned. I tried both Earth's Best and Seventh Generation diapers. We stayed with Earth's Best because of the awesome deals we were finding (I highly recommend subscribing for routine deliveries.) Seventh Generation was ok but the size seemed a bit snug. I really like Earth's Best texture, it's soft and tissue like. They don't hold as much as the Pampers do, so we've been changing her once in the middle of the night. Also, we've been using Earth's best wipes because they are alcohol free. However, the Kirkland brand from Costco is also alcohol free and just feels a bit nicer.
Leak and BURST! September 6, 2010 I've been using Earth's Best Diapers since my baby was born. They worked really well until I went up to size 4. Now they leak (at night) ALL the time and several times they have burst open, leaking gel-stuff all over her. I don't know what this stuff is. Is it toxic? One time, after this happened, she got a really bad rash on her stomach where the diaper had burst open.
Now we have to find another clorine-free diaper. Ugh.
Great Diaper - Best Price September 4, 2010 I had intended to cloth diaper my little one but due to some complications in my recovery, ended up using the 'back-up' diapers my mom bought me. Knowing how I felt about what I put on my little one she chose Earth's Best and it has been my go to since. I have tried other eco-friendly diapers and none compared. My daughter is nearly 8 months old and has never had a rash. The diapers hold quite a bit, overnight I only change her if she is already up for a feeding. And, you wont find a better price anywhere, local or online, than the 'Subscribe and Save' price and it is super convenient to have them delivered.
